I am Zhaoyin Jia 
, a fourth-year Ph.D student at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering , Cornell University. I am advised by Prof. Tsuhan Chen and Dr. Yao-Jen Chang, and also colabroating with Prof.Ashutosh Saxena.
My research interests are Computer Vision and Robotics. More specifically, I am developing vision algorithms, such as object recognition and 3D reconstruction, and applying them on a robot. I am also interested in Machine Learning and Image Retrieval.
I completed my undergraduate study at Shanghai Jiao Tong University , graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. In my spare time I enjoy playing piano and basketball (I know they are not that compatible), and recently I am trying to learn photography and guitar. Besides, I have experience in building websites, just for fun.
